Patricia A. Anderson

Patricia McIntosh Anderson, beloved wife of the late Karl O. Anderson for over 61 years, has peacefully claimed her Heavenly reward. She was no doubt welcomed into the gates of Heaven by many. Affectionately known by friends and loved ones as Pat: a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Always quick to smile, Pat was central to a one-of-a-kind deeply loving family, and she will be sorely missed by many. Born in Lewistown, MT, to Tom and Ida McIntosh on St. Patty's Day, 1935, she spent most of her life in Washington where she attended Vancouver High School, class of 1953. Married young, she was a supportive and dedicated wife, and bore three amazing children. She worked various jobs until she found her calling in the mortgage industry and after many years, she retired from US Bancorp Mortgage. When her kids were growing up, Pat enjoyed family time fishing and camping on the Columbia river and spent summers in Long Beach, WA. She never missed a single baseball game or any of her kids' activities. In later years after her kids were grown, she and Karl enjoyed travelling, casino trips, and Long Beach with loved ones every Summer. She enjoyed vacations in Arizona, Hawaii, Alaska, Louisiana, Florida, and Mexico, and recently enjoyed a cruise through the Panama Canal with her best friend Jean. She was a social butterfly and loved a good party. It was always fun having the youngest, prettiest Mom growing up. Family was the most important thing in Life to Pat. She is survived by her three children, Debbie, Greg, and Karla; brother, Tom McIntosh; grandchildren, Trevor (Lindsay), Ryan (Andrea), Chelsey (Dave), and Karl (Nicole); great-grandchildren, Kylie, Kenlee, Anderson, Dash, Daisy, Elliott, Mary Jane, and Michael. A special thank you to caregivers Isaac and Judy for the loving care they gave our mom. Service and Interment will be held on Sat. Apr. 2, at 12:30 p.m. Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Celebration of Life will follow at Pat's home in Lake Shore. Donations may be sent to PeaceHealth Hospice. Mom was our first friend, our forever friend. She was always there to love us, teach us, guide us, and fill our hearts with joy.
