Bonita Rae Henningsgard

To celebrate the life of Bonita Henningsgard the family has chosen to hold a service on Sunday April 24th at 3 pm followed by a wake to celebrate Bonnie. On Monday April 25th at 11:30 am she will be laid to rest. Both services and wake are being held at Evergreen Memorial located at 1101 NE 112th Ave Vancouver, WA 98684. Family and friends are welcome to attend both to celebrate the life of Bonita. Bonita Henningsgard was born on January 28th, 1941 in Baker, OR to Lyle and Ruby Holt. Shortly after graduating high school Bonita married the love of her life Robert Henningsgard on August 22nd, 1958. In their 57 years together they accomplished many things one being owner and operators of B&B custom leathers for 33 years. Bonita loved working with leather but she also had a passion for cooking, gardening, shopping, and her beloved pet Eve. But amongst all this Bonita would say the best part of her life would be her family and friends. Surviving Bonita is her husband Robert (Bob), sons and daughter-in laws: Victor & Allison Henningsgard, Richard & Jodi Henningsgard, Tom & Barbie Henningsgard, and daughter Teresa Henningsgard-Hill. Along with her children Bonita is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. The loved ones that passed away before Bonita consists of her son Robert Henningsgard Jr (Bobby), her parents Lyle and Ruby Holt and her sisters Judy Melton and Sherrie Rameriz. Father in law's Arthur Henningsgard and Owen Williams, her mother-in law Janet Smathers, Bonita's sister and brother in law Jay and Florance Patison and her sister in law Shirley Herd. Friends of Bonita that have also passed include Bill Robinson, Bob and Darlene Herd, Spike Williams, and Elaine Nortan. Bonita Henningsgard was a woman to admire. Her dedication to her family was unwavering and she loved everyone passionately and unconditionally. She gave freely and believed deeply in all things in her lifetime. She tackled life's obstacles with the greatest of ease thanks to her Christian faith and support from her loving husband and family. Bonita went to be with the lord on April 18th, 2016 in Vancouver, WA while amongst her loving family. The family is able to accept her passing knowing that she is resting peacefully with the lord and is no longer in any pain.
