Travis Retchless

Travis Christopher Retchless was born on December 3rd 1981 in Portland Oregon to Bruce Retchless and Karen Retchless. Travis was granted his angel wings, on February 17, 2016 at the age of 34. Travis is survived by his great grandmother Irene Retchless his grandmothers Donna Collins and Pauline Quinn. Travis is also survived by his immediate family Bruce Retchless of La Center Washington, and Karen Mills of Nevada, Michael lawless from Spokane Wa, Stepfather Terry Pulju of Nevada, his son Seth Gonzalez of Las Vegas Nevada, four sisters Stephanie Horn, Jamie Retchless, his twin sister Crystal Retchless, Shania Retchless and his brother Tristen Countryman and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. While living in Oregon, Travis attended Sunset high school. Travis was an avid lover of sports and during his young life and played football, enjoyed other sports such as skiing, snowboarding and baseball. He also enjoyed fishing and camping at his favorite place, Olallie Lake Wilderness in Oregon. Travis's hobby on his spare time was working on automobiles and riding his motorcycle. Travis worked for Mountain Mist Landscape Design and Industrial Finishes in Gresham prior to moving to Las Vegas. Travis's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him and though he never spoke a word, his voice and thoughts could always be heard. With Travis's passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him every day, especially his winning smile, he will remain forever in our hearts, and to remind everyone such a gift has been given it can never be taken away! Memorial for Travis will be on Saturday, February 27, at 3:00 p.m., at Evergreen Funeral Home in Vancouver Washington 1101 North East 112th Avenue. Viewing will be on Saturday, February 27, prior to service, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Celebration of Life will be at the home of Bruce Retchless 228 East 17th place La Center Washington 98629 shortly after the memorial.
