Ronda Lynne Syverson

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Ronda Lynne Syverson on Nov 7, 2023. Ronda was a profoundly kind, genuine and gentle soul who always found optimism no matter the circumstance. She shared her kindness with anyone she came in contact with, whether it be strangers or her loved ones. To know her was to know absolute warmth, compassion and generosity. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Ronda is survived by her five daughters, Kris, Amy, Lisa, Kimberlie and Victoria; her siblings Richard, Lenora and Leslie; her grandchildren Remi, Ayden, Emily, Mya, Ally, Kody, Ada and Zoe; aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Ronda was born in Vancouver, Washington on April 2nd, 1959 to Frances and Richard Page. She graduated from Camas High School in 1977. She spent her 20s working for Braniff Airlines in Dallas, Texas where she met several lifelong friends. After moving back to Vancouver, she worked at the Camas paper mill for eight years and then worked at the City of Camas for a total of 23 years. She had recently been promoted to Procurement Specialist in the finance department and was planning to retire in 2-3 years to spend more time with her grandchildren and work in her garden. Ronda's passions included painting, gardening, creating succulent arrangements, and, above all, spending time with her loved ones. In recent years, she began gifting and selling succulent arrangements and home-made cards. She enjoyed selling her creations at local bazaars and craft events, though she often discounted her artwork and gave items away for free. She was agiver by nature and was known to have succulent arrangements sitting in her car that she would gift to people whom she had just met. In the five years before her death, she lived with her daughter Kimberlie and son-in-law Adam, as well as her two grandchildren Ada and Zoe. Living with her grandchildren brought her immense joy; she loved spending time with her girls whether it be taking them to swim lessons, doing arts and crafts or cuddling and watching a show. Everyone who knew Ronda knew, above all, her incredible kindness and compassion. In her memory, please remember to love fiercely, laugh often, and spread positivity. There will be a celebration of life held in spring of 2024; the date is unknown at this time. Per her wishes, the immediate family will be spreading her ashes at her favorite walking trail.
