In Loving Memory of Rodney Alan Hupp April 16, 1963 - May 3, 2025 With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Rodney Alan Hupp, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished brother, and dear friend. He left this world far too soon, leaving an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew him. Born on April 16, 1963, Rodney was a man of unwavering love, kindness, and strength. He lived his life with passion and purpose, always placing his family at the center of everything he did. His laughter, wisdom, and generous heart touched everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. Throughout his life, Rodney achieved many milestones-from a successful career in carpentry to his deep involvement in church, recovery, and adventures to distant lands with his beloved wife, Roseland. He found immense joy in riding his Harley Softail Slim, often joking, "I have to put my hair on first." Above all, his greatest accomplishment was the love and devotion he shared with his wife and their beautiful family. These moments, rich in connection and peace, were a reflection of the heart he carried-one that sought meaning and depth in every experience." "Yet, amidst the highs and lows of life's journey, Rodney discovered that true fulfillment came not just from the things he loved, but from the strength he built within himself. His sobriety was not just a personal triumph but a testament to his resilience, his unwavering commitment to living with clarity, and his deep devotion to those who walked beside him. Through his recovery, he embraced a life of purpose, showing by example that renewal and hope are always within reach." " Rodney is survived by his loving wife, Roseland, and children: LaStronia McKinney, Karissa Bennett, Kristan Grayson, Edward Hupp, Vincent Frost, Alexandria Dolliole, and Malachi Hupp. He also leaves behind his siblings: Ben M'Tundu, Terry Hupp, Bret Hupp, and Clinton Hupp, along with numerous grandchildren, relatives, friends, and colleagues who will forever cherish his memory. A celebration of Rodney's life will be held on May 24th at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember such an incredible man. Though Rodney left us too soon, he leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion. His presence will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
