PATRICIA "TRISH" L. LLOYD May 4, 1929 ~ June 27, 2011 Patricia "Trish" L. Lloyd, 82, went home to Our Lord on June 27, 2011, after a battle with cancer. Trish was born on May 4, 1929, to Emma and Gus Darland of Ferdinand, Idaho. Trish married Thomas W. Lloyd on Feb. 14, 1970, in Loveland, CO. As a devout Christian, Trish was a member of Salmon Creek United Methodist Church. She was a warm and welcoming woman who loved to socialize and volunteer her time and talents to others. She was a lifetime member and former Honorary Worthy Matron of the Henry Wentworth Chapter No. 250 of Eastern Star and the Nydia Temple No. 4 Daughters of the Nile. Trish was blessed with an artistic ability that included everything from gardening, sewing, crafts, and cooking to truly amazing oil paintings. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Ray Hickey Hospice House for providing excellent care during the last four months of Trish's life. We would also like to thank the loving members of Salmon Creek United Methodist Church for the many prayers, visits, meals, and comforting shoulders. Trish was a devoted wife and mother to her four children: Emma "Francine' (Bob) Jeffers of Dallas, TX, Treva D. (Jerry) Gurly of Pilot Point, TX, Gary S. Rifer of Vancouver, WA, and Sheri L. Gray of Vancouver, WA. She was also a devoted step-mother to Tom's four children: Shad T. Lloyd of Vancouver, WA, Dan T. Lloyd of Colorado Springs, CO, Ann J. Harris of Fort Worth, TX and Virginia R. (Scott) Cleveland of Grand Forks, SD. She is survived by the eight children listed, 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great- great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and four brothers, Ray, Bob, Charles, and Richard. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 9, 2011, 11:00 a.m., at Salmon Creek United Methodist Church, 12217 N.E. Highway 99, Vancouver, WA 98686. A private interment ceremony will be held at Willamette National Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Shriners' Children's Hospital or Ray Hickey Hospice House. Arrangements are entrusted with Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
