Mary S. Bauder Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

MARY SUSAN BAUDER Born 2/19/47, in Louisville, Kentucky, the youngest child of Vernon and Mary Louise Wichelhaus, Mary Susan Bauder died June 29, 2017. She married Randy Lee Bauder in Santa Ana, California on 8/6/67. She was always known as Susie. They lived in Santa Ana and Orange, California until 1971 when they moved to San Anselmo, and later Walnut Creek, California where they lived for 26 years. In 2002, they moved to Vancouver, Washington to be near the grandchildren. She is survived by her husband and two children, Kristina Louise Rice of Camas WA (with husband Jim and grandchildren Mary, A.J. and Jack) and Julie Ann Fones of Petaluma, CA (with husband Russel and grandchildren Alex, Lucy and Nico). Susie, was a travel agent for 35 years which allowed the couple and family to travel extensively. She enjoyed being at the beach, boating, water and snow skiing with her family and decorating. She was the Events Director for the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce for 8 years, and loved to throw a party. She was also a two term president of the Clark County Newcomers Club, in which she was active for many years. She and Randy were also active in the Portland Triumph Owners Association. A funeral service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 1101 NE 112th Ave, Vancouver, WA 98684 on Friday, July 7th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Reception will be held immediately after.
