Jane Irene Wogaman

Jane Wogaman (Phelps) of Vancouver WA, died Wednesday October 12'th 2022 at home surrounded by loving friends and family.Retired from many years of service from Meridian (Voplex) and Metamora products as a production worker, Jane also enjoyed working as a Direct care worker in adult foster care. Jane was born on September 5'th 1945 as the 2'nd child of Margaret "Lucile" (Cole) Phelps and Charles Phelps in Royal Oak.Jane grew up with her family in Berkley and later moved to Troy, where she graduated from Troy High School in the class of 1963. She and her family then relocated to the Lapeer area where she would spend most of her life. Jane met the love of her life Kenneth at Lapeer Laundry and built a wonderful life with Ken & her 2 sons Jason and Aaron.Jane is preceded in death by her husband Ken, her sister Jan (Cash), Her Mother Lucile and Father Charles, Her brothers-in-law Albert Cash, Warren Mason, and many loved ones on the Wogaman side of the family.Her surviving family members are Sons, Jason (April) Wogaman, Aaron Wogaman, Sister Linda Mason (Phelps), Brother Stephen Phelps, In-Laws Chuck & Sharyn Wogaman, Phelps Nieces Jennifer & Amy, Phelps Nephews Chuck & Michael along with many other nieces and nephews on the Wogaman and Phelps side of her family. Jane also leaves behind a long list of friends that she considered family.Prior to moving to Vancouver, WA Jane was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapeer Michigan. Jane counted the Christian faith as a top priority in her life and continued her worship at the Fern Prairie United Methodist Church in Camas Washington where she was a member until her passing.Jane devoted her life to her family, which she loved very much. She made friends very easily and would do anything to make one's life easier. Her unique personality and crazy sense of humor is what made her one of a kind. The outpouring of love from friends and family barely scratches the surface of the impact she had on many people. She will be greatly missed by anyone that knew her.In lieu of flowers, memorials and donations are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association, Wounded Warriors Project, or Any Animal Refuge.Memorial service/Celebration of life will be held in the late Spring/early Summer of 2023 in a location to be announced.
