Debi Rae MaComb

We are devastated to announce that Deborah (Debi) Rae (Pierce) Macomb died on June 5th 2023. She was born July 14th 1955 at Oaknoll Naval hospital Oakland California to Robert Eugene Pierce and Nancy Kay Pierce. She had many health complications in her last few years, with Diabetes and kidney function. She was in the care of nurses at her dialysis appointment when she passed away peacefully in her sleep. Debi grew up in Coquille Oregon, where she graduated high school in 1973. This year, marked her 50th year reunion and was looking forward to attending this summer. She was a member of the west 5th street girls, which she had very fond memories of. She attended Oregon State University and had a successful career as an interior designer, followed by a 17 year carrier in tax preparation, working with a very special friend Shelly Dunn- Beber at Linda's tax service in Vancouver Washington. She loved interior designer and surrounding her clients with a warm, comfortable, family centered homes. One of Debi's most enjoyable things was to spend time with her family and friends.She created many wonderful, meaningful friendships while working at Linda's Tax. She would teuely give the shirt of her back to anyone. What a wonderful life - giving to others. She is predeseased by her fraternal grandparents, Charlie & Florence Pierce and maternal grandparents August & Katherine Paulsen & Glen & Frances Jones. Her father Robert Eugene Pierce and brother in law David William Johnson. Although Debi didn't have children of her own she had a very special bond with her nieces and nephew. At some point a majority of them came to live with her throughout the years. These special relationships include Misty Dawn (Duey)Pigott, and husband Philip. Jason Tyler Lobato, Nathan Robert Duey and wife Amanda, Kyle David Johnson and fiancé Audra Howard, Gaylynn (Lobato) Calvert and husband Jake,Richard Brady Sherriff and Brandon Johnson, wife Gretchen. Along with several great nieces and nephews. At the time of her passing she was sharing a home in Vancouver Washington with Misty and her family, this included her great niece Kyle Amelia Pigott who she adored! She is survived by her mother Nancy Kay Pierce of Boardman and sisters, Connie Lobato of Boardman Oregon, Barbara Kay Johnson of Wallulla, Washington and Charlene Marie Sherriff of Roseburg Oregon. At Debi's request she wanted a party to celebrate her life. Please join us July 22nd 2023 from 1:00-3:00 at Linda's Tax Service 6314 NE 137th St Vancouver Wa 98682.
