Conrad "Roger" Behm

Roger Behm, 85 passed away peacefully at home on February 26, 2022 after a long struggle with illness. His loving wife and family were by his side. Roger was Born in Des Moines Iowa on March 25, 1936 to Iva and Raymond Behm. Roger graduated Fort Vancouver High School and Clark College earning an associate degree. Roger enlisted in the U.S. Navy and then Forest Service as a Ranger and spent his time at Sunset Ranger Station. He was part of Hazel Dell Businessman's Association with Behm's Oil and then Behm's Batteries. Roger was passionate about his community once running for councilman, sponsoring softball teams in Vancouver and active in his Church. Roger was a kind, gentle man always helping others, Family was his pride and joy with trips to Anderson Island and the coast. He enjoyed his grandchildren watching them play and grow on their property and was blessed with eight great grand children as he was mesmerized by their activity, he loved his hugs and kisses. Roger is Survived by his lovely wife Linda, his four beautiful daughters Debbie Allman, Ronda Hoyt, Renee BehmLeBlanc, and Kari Beebe, sons Gary Allman, Gary Hoyt and Norm LeBlanc, Sisters Karalie Nelson and Nancy Shelton . Grandchildren Shawn Allman, Christie Ingalls, Shayne Hoyt, Cody Beebe, Jessica Sayad, Brett Hoyt, Kyle LeBlanc, Cassandra Alt, Kalyn LeBlanc and Philip LeBlanc and eight adorable great Grandchildren. Roger is predeceased by his mother Iva Behm, father Raymond Behm, twin sister Constance Behm and Son Ron Beebe. A grave side service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens on March 12 at 12:00 p.m. in the Garden of Grace. A Celebration of life will TBD later this year and posted on this website.
